Bob is chief actuary of Nassau Re's insurance segment. He is responsible for managing actuarial risks and evaluating capital strategies. He is also the appointed actuary for Phoenix Life Insurance Company, Constitution
Life and Pyramid Life.
He began his career with the company in 1981 as an actuarial trainee. After serving in increasingly senior actuarial positions, he was promoted to second vice president and actuary in 1996 and to vice president and
actuary in 2000. Bob was promoted to his current position in 2012.
Bob is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). He holds two bachelor's degrees, in mathematics and electrical engineering, from The Cooper Union, and a master’s
degree in operations research from Stanford University.
